CAPE SOUNION BUS TOUR FROM ATHENS

During this bus sightseeing tour, we will have the opportunity to travel the magical coastal road of Attica, offering breathtaking panoramas of the sea and the small islands of the Saronic Gulf. Passing by the magnificent beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza, we will be enchanted by the natural beauty of the coast.

As we continue our journey towards Cape Sounion, the southernmost point of Attica, we will be fascinated by the breathtaking views of the Attica coastline. Arriving at Cape Sounion, we will be greeted by the majestic Temple of Poseidon, perched on top of a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea. According to mythology, this place was the scene of the suicide of King Aegeus, wrongly believing that his son Theseus had perished in Crete at the hands of the Minotaur.
As we climb the hill, we will visit the Temple of Poseidon, a tribute to the ancient Greek god of the sea, and we will be amazed by the panoramic view it offers. After our exploration, we will have the opportunity to enjoy free time to stroll around Cape Sounion and soak up its captivating atmosphere.
