DISCOVER THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF SCUBA DIVING IN CEPHALONIA

After a basic introduction to diving theory, you will enjoy a dive into a largely unexplored new world below the surface of the blue waters of Kefalonia, where you will experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of an experienced instructor.

During your adventure, you will master some basic concepts and diving skills. As a novice diver, you will have the chance to explore the unique marine life underwater and admire its magnificence. Kefalonia is a great place for divers, with extremely clear waters offering great visibility. You will have the chance to marvel and admire the beauty of the fish.

THE DIVING SPOTS
Beneath the Tilemachos Caves lies an underwater meadow of the "Posidonia oceanica" where a solitary reef stands which was a death trap for the old ships that used to pass through the area. At least 2 or 3 of them found their last resting place there, scattering their ballast stones, a large number of as yet unidentified amphoras, large pieces of wood, bronze remains and period anchors from sunken ships. Various fish and loggerhead turtles frequently visit the site.
The main body of the reef contains a small but impressive underwater cave, with two openings and a hole in the roof, letting in a lot of light and rewarding the most daring divers with spectacular views.

The Eye : In this colorful reef, divers will find a surprising variety of local underwater fauna such as cardinalfish, blennies and small crustaceans. All kinds of sea breams and mules also find refuge here. An arch-shaped cave can be walked through by divers, which gives the opportunity to take impressive pictures and blue light views through the cave.

The average depth of the dive is 8m and the maximum is 12m. The usual visibility is 25 m and the temperature varies between 22 and 27 C in summer. Sometimes there may be weak currents.
